Blueberry

There is nothing better than harvesting a plant that you grew. From that teeny, tiny seed that pokes it head out from the soil to the final days where the pungent smell permeates through your house. This particular strain was amazing. It just grew to be the most beautiful plant I had grown to date. The top cola weighed in at 52 grams (WHAT!!!). I purchase my seeds through a woman owned company up in Maine - North Atlantic Seed Co. Every seed I have purchased from them “pops”. I had gotten seeds from other companies when I first started growing and had quite a few that never germinated. And with the price of seeds being what they are, that was disappointing for sure. So for now, I only get from northatlanticseed.com. Be sure to check them out.

Once you are ready to harvest your plant, there is a process to follow. I am personally a fan of wet trimming, others prefer to let the plant dry. For those that are not familiar with this, when you chop your plant down, you can either trim it then or let it dry by hanging it or using a tent type contraption (not sure what it’s called!). For me, I put on some Grateful Dead, smoke a little, then I get started. It’s a tedious processs for sure and always wear protection on your hands because those buds are sticky! But once you get into the groove, and you see how beautiful those buds are, the time flies. This particular plant took me almost 4 hours to trim (yes, it was that big). The final image in my gallery is my yield from this plant. Amazing for sure! And I will say, this plant is great for nighttime use. The effects are mellow, relaxing and happy. A perfect way to end your day. Happy Growing!

And if you want to support a great candle company, check out www.siblings.co. Their candles are amazing. Mine was a gift from Momma Bear, the scent is Clementine, Cinnamon, Clove. I will definitely be buying more from them.
